One day, Brendan found he had a personal itch to solve a problem, while managing his personal stock portfolio. As his account grew, his risk tolerance changed, and general shifts happened in the market, he found that keeping on top of his portfolio was particularly time consuming and tedious. He got bored of doing this manually, and built a script out of frustration for having to manage this manually.
